Goerz Taro-Tenax

Traduction de P-Y Petit.

The Taro Tenax was manufactured by CP Goerz from 1912 to the integration of Goers into Zeiss Ikon in 1926.

The two cameras below are model II, using a 9x12cm format. They are double extension folding, which frame can be made either of wood or of leather-covered aluminium. The two variations are shown below.

The wooden one has a Doppel anastigmat Goerz Dagor 1:6,8 F=130mm lens, while the aluminium one hasf Goerz Syntor lens (with exactly the same characteristics). Shutter is a Compur.

The CPG logo found between the extension rails is very remarkable.
