Houghton Ensign Midget 55

Real gem, this miniature camera, perhaps the smallest of the foldings, was dedicated to ladies.
Very well made??, stylish, it is equipped with a lens open from 6.3 to 8 - 11 and 22, a shutter that offers 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100 as well as B and T exposures .
It is equipped with a small folding bright viewfinder (so small that it is almost unusable) and a collapsible frame viewfinder.
He used special film with a negative size 3cm x 4cm, respectable size for such a small device.
Folded, it is very flat and fits in a leather case. It is one of these devices (such as the Eljy), we would like to use again.
There are other versions prior to model 55, the models 22 and 33. The 55 is technically the most enhanced, and in my opinion the most beautiful. The model was available in 55 "Silver" and "Gold" for the celebration of the Jubilee of George V and Queen Mary.
