Chronology of cameras Pontiac

Traduction de Daniel C.

We know that since 1951, the manufacture of Pontiac has been relocated in Morocco, a French colony at that time.
If this is clearly indicated on the top of buttons of the Baby Lynx, there was no indication of the name of the model. The inscription of the  name of the model and the geographic origin of the camera belatedly appeared only around the lens, on the shutter front plate.
As the production stopped in 1954, we may deduce that the quantity of cameras engraved this way was very small. These cameras are generally cased in dark  brown leather (according to B. Vial) .

Didier Dubeau thinks that we are facing an exhibition model, intended to be shown by VRP while visiting photographs.
