The Medalist II differs from the first model by the addition of a flash sync. The shutter accordingly becomes "Flash Supermatic." The flash contact is on the side where on the first model was the focus screw.
A look inside the dark room allows to see the sync wires. The engineers seem to have missed inspiration to integrate the wiring in the unit.
Helical becomes metallic and changes its colour. The lens is now treated.
