Lumiere Cilmatic Electric 300S

This camera exists in at least two forms, the most striking difference is the shape of the cell window.
Most catalogs shows a variant with a prominent rectangular window, such as the Super-Electric Dignette SR. The model presented here (and in the Mc Keown) has a round window.

The 300 S has a coupled cell, but no rangefinder, while the 300 has an uncoupled cell and a rangefinder. The shutter is a Prontor 300L or a Prontor 300E. The lens is produced by Rodenstock. This is a Trinon Lanthan 2.8 / 45 mm. Its name suggests the use of Lanthanum for the surface treatment of the lens.

Note: The words "LUMIERE groupe Ciba Ilford" that seems absent on the versions with the rectangular cell window.

This unit cost 367 French francs in 1968.
