Chronology of cameras Lumiere 

This model is at the transition from the Eljy to the Super-Eljy. Besides the aesthetic differences, what justifies the name change is the improvement of the shutter performance. It now reaches 1/125 of a second. A nut to attach a tripod was also added.
As shown in the Photo-Plait catalog of 1938, the two cameras "Eljy" and "Super-Eljy" are jointly proposed to customers.
