Mamiya 135EF

The 135 EF could be the 135 on which would have been added the electronic flash (EF), but unfortunately it is no longer a rangefinder like the 135 EE, released in late 1977.

Mamiya wanted to diversify its products range and propose devices with most competitive price. There's no rangefinder but a bright viewfinder to avoid parallax errors. The distances ring is graduated in meters and feet. There are also four symbols.

The exposure is automatic, controlled by a CdS cell. The shutter is set between 1/60 at 2.8 and 1/250 at 22. In the viewfinder, the scale of diaphragms and benchmarks for over and under-exposure are visible.

The lens is the same as on the 135 EE, a four elements 2.8 / 38 mm.

The flash unit has a guide number of 12. The recycle time is 8 seconds and autonomy is about 250 lightning.

The device is powered by two AA batteries.
