The Petri TTL is an evolution of the Petri FT- several years old. At the time of its release in France, only one other reflex Petri exists on the domestic market is the FTEE.

The TTL is a semi-automatic reflex with TTL exposure. In the viewfinder, after selecting a shutter speed, a horizontal needle (which we would like be often horizontal) moves accordingly with changes of the aperture value (rotation of the ring around the lens). The exposure is right when the needle is horizontal, juxtaposed in a circle.

The measure is carried out by two CdS cells near the viewfinder, on each side of this last one.

The shutter allows shutter speed from the second to 1 / 1000 sec, plus B.

This camera works with a PX625 battery. You'll need a substitute for use it again.
