Traduction de PB

Professional version of the first Minolta Autofocus, it is named Maxxum in North America and Alpha in Asia
The shutter is electronically controlled with speeds from 30s to 1/4000s in program, manuel, Aperture priority, speed priority modes.
These modes are selected by a selector wheel and controlled by shutter control. The sensibility (6 to 6400 ISO) is automatically selected by detection of the DX coding or by adjustment by a push button and the shutter control. The 9000 when not equipped with an external winder or motor is a full manual film advance and rewind body, for this reason it is only powered by 2 AA type batteries. This camera als includes a possibility of multi exposure and a timer controlled electronically.
The exposure adjustement is selectable from +4 to -4 EV by step of 0,5 stop. The body includes also a mode average or spot metering. The view finder equipped with a eyepiece adjustment and a shutter lever permits to display most of the information as the diaphragm, the speed, the metering mode, the flash indicator, the focus. Some of these informations are also displayed on the external LCD.

This body can accept a lot of options including :
- A winder AW-90 permitting the motorised film advance and rewind
- A motor MD-90 equipped with a battery pack BP-90M and it's 12 type AA batteries or the Ni-Cd pack NP-90M. This motor drives the camera
up to 5 frames /s.
- A data back 90 or super 90 adding new functions as exposures and bracketting modes, an intervalometer,....
- an IR remote control
- a few focusing screens
- some additionnal eyepiece correctors
- and of course all the range of lenses developped by Minolta for the AF cameras.
