Le RE-II ressemble au Sensomat RE, mais il permet d'utiliser les objectifs de la nouvelle gamme EC. Ceux-ci sont plus compacts que les précédents. Ils sont désormais gainés de caoutchouc. Ils restent interchangeables avec ceux de la série E, mais eux-seuls permettent l'automatisme à pleine ouverture.
