Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
Without fundamentally modifying his camera, Zeiss Ikon gives his Box-Tengor (54/2) a little facelift by rounding the film winding button, curving the shape of the viewfinders, and by adopting the decoration of the front face in the form of three circles, which is also found on some 54/2. Zeiss Ikon calls this "new" model the Box-Tengor II (55/2).
Dominique Foucault suspects the French brand Cord of having been heavily inspired from this model for its Super-Cord.
