Yashica Penta J

Traduction de Manuel M

It is about a reflex camera fully manually, but as one can see it on the left, there is a claw on which a cell can be hanged. This one is coupled with the barrel of the speeds. The speed indicated by the cell and the speed selected do not have any more but to be adjusted on the lens.

Not frankly ugly, but too sharp to be graceful! Why to have put the summit of the obelisk of the Concorde* on this camera?

* Note of the translator: reference to the Egyptian obelisk of Louqsor (Ramses II) given by the Egypt to the France in 1831, and located at present, place of the Concorde in Paris.
