Chronology of cameras Ricoh
History of the brand Ricoh New window

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

This camera belongs to the very closed club of SLR cameras using Kodapack 126. One can also quote Contaflex 126 of Zeiss-Ikon, Rollei SL 26, the Kodak Instamatic Reflex, and the Keystone K1020.
All have jointly to have been of very good cameras, but using a format of cartridge having a poor reputation.
Ricoh 126C-Flex seems to develop starting from Singlex. However if this last profits from very vast range of lenses, for the 126, are announced only one 35 and one 100 mms.
There is possibility of using either a cubic flash, or a conventional flash. The shutter allows speeds of 1/30 to 1/300 second. In 1969, this camera cost 838 francs .
It is rather disconcerting to have a square finder on a camera which resembles so much the SLR 24 X 36.
