History of the brand Demaria-Lapierre

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
This Caleb is one of these multiples small folding camera as one sees some, each Sunday morning, on the displays of the secondhand trades. Most of the time, they do not have any distinctive sign making it possible to identify them. Often, they never had of mark, because they were manufactured for local distributers, opticians, pharmacists etc…
This one does not hide its filiation, and its name is registered at several places. Moreover, the lens is a Demaria Lapierre, additional indication.
The identification is also facilitated by the small pocket which accompanies it and which contains the frames for plan-films. It is decorated of a logotype “Caleb”.
This folding camera is with double-pulling and vertical off-centering.
