Chronology of cameras Zenith Camera Corp.

This metal box camera is very unpleasant to handle, especially when the weather is cold... in Chicago.
The fairly thin metal is covered on the front part with an aluminum-colored paint, and on the rear part with a frosted-looking paint.

The camera lacks of any originality, except the setting knobs resistance (selection between snapshots and bulb exposure) and the shutter operation sound (cling).

Would a Corned Beef cans factory have reconverted in Chicago, after war?

In the 1950 annual issue of Popular Photography, the mentioned manufacturer name is Pho-Tak.
