Chronology of cameras Ansco
During the 1920s, Ansco manufactured a series of models named "Goodwin" in honor of Reverend Hannibal Goodwin, who invented transparent flexible film in 1887. The Goodwin Film & Camera Co. Inc. was acquired by Anthony and Scovill after Reverend Goodwin's death in 1900.

This box, measuring 6.5 x 11 cm, is made of cardboard, except for the film support block, which is made of wood. The numbers of the patents filed in the United States and Canada are engraved on this wooden block. The rear panel is not hinged; it is the canvas covering that keeps it attached to the case.
The selection between pause and instant is made using the lever located near the upper viewfinder, and the aperture selection is situated above the shutter release.
Its construction is identical to the Ansco Special, manufactured from 1924 to 1928.
