Chronology of cameras Ansco
This camera, common in the USA, dates back to the late 1940s. The picture might suggest that the lens (f/14) is detachable, with a helical ramp. However, it's just decorative grooves. It operates at a single speed, 1/50 of a second.
In May 1950, this camera was sold for $7.95.
The Pioneer PD-16 is the same camera for the 616 format (sold for $8.95 in May 1950).
