Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Agfa Super Solinette is the most advanced 135 camera of the Solinette line, adding a coupled rangefinder. Otherwise, it is the same as the Solinette II.
The camera was delivered between 1953 and 1958 in several shutter and lens combinations. The version presented here corresponds to the top combination: the Solinar 50mm/3.5 and a Synchro-Compur central shutter. It is from the early-mid production period, as the Synchro-Compur has no EV system, and the setting of speed and stepless aperture is independent.
But it has Super Solinette marked on the front plate as typical in the late production period. The whole shutter/lens unit moves for focusing.
The camera was sold in the US as the Ansco Super Regent.
