Ricoh Diacord G

Traduction de Manuel M

The Diacord G is the most elementary of Diacord. It is stripped of any control of exposure. The model Diacord L simultaneously put on the market, has a cell positioned behind the fronting of the camera

Diacord G is well manufactured, but some things surprise like the principle of adjustment of the distance from focusing. There is a lever of each side of the plate which supports the lenses (Centring lens Ricoh 1: 3.5 f=8cm). If a lever is lowered, the plate advance; if one presses on the symmetrical lever, it moves back. The control of the neatness is done on the glass ground with the top of the camera.

The adjustments of exposure are recalled in a window located on the top of the lens of centring.

In direct competition with the Yashica D, this camera is however closer in its conception to the Minolta Autocord.
