Chronology of cameras Leica
Traduction de Manuel M
The Standard took the succession of Leica I in parallel with Leica II. The later being a model with rangefinder, it is another story.
The Standard, called E in the USA, is simple. Like the precedent, it is with interchangeable lenses, with a simple viewfinder. Its existence is justified by some negligible changes. Thus, one pulls up the rewinding knob in order to improve the use of it.
This series of cameras is numbered from 101,001 to 355,650 (Product. 27.000 pieces)
