Yashica T AF

Traduction de Manuel M

Introduced at the time of Kina of 1984, this Yashica is the first of the series T. This small T following by a star makes reference to the lens Zeiss Tessar which equips this camera and which breaks away it of the lot of compact camera very numerous in this year.

Outside, with hindsight, it does not appear very beautiful. However its angular lines were well-in the air of this time.

Some small things are noticed. The lens is protected by a transparent stopper It is useless to seek to open it. The camera only put itself in charge with each release.
Under the lens, one can see a manual adjustment of the sensitivity, limited with five choices, from 50 to 1000 Iso. On camera of this standard, at that time, it is close to the inconceivable.

The autofocus system is with… 8 steps, which is little compared to the cameras of the next decade, but it is a beginning. The focusing is storable, and the point of adjustment is recalled in the viewfinder in the form of three symbols. A fourth symbol is activated when the use of the flash is required.

This camera could be equipped with a device on fronting, allowing close shots. It corrected the focusing and attenuated the flash.
