Fex Indo Rubi-Fex Coloral F

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

Rubi-Fex 127 was a so great success and it had a so great number of variants, that the chinor must be scrupulous when it finds one in secondhand trade of them and check all the characteristics of the camera which it has between the hands. In good donor of lessons, I a long time considered with distance Rubi-Fex seen in the secondhand market. The book of Gilles Moreau opened the eyes to me. I am far from having all the variants which it counts.
Rubi Fex can be divided into two families, according to the shape of the cap. In the first, the finder forms projecting, in the second, the cap was thickened and the finder does not exceed any more.

Picture 1 : Original Rubi-Fex: black plastic sleeving, 3 speeds (1/25, 1/50, 1/100), two diaphragms. On the projecting one of the finder are two pins for the flash “Rubi-Flash”.
Like on all Rubi-Fex, the squared structures which are each side of the finder are not used for nothing!

Picture 2 : Rubi-Fex with cap black and sheathed aluminum.
The shutter is different. It has only one setting: Sun, cloud and Flash.

Picture 3 : Rubi-Fex Coloral F with collimated finder.
The cap is with height of the finder. “Coloral” does not mean anything.
The F indicates the presence of a flash (with bulbs AG-1).

Picture 4 : Rubi-Fex Automatic not collimated. The diaphragm is regulated by a cell (around the lens). In the finder, a needle passes in a red or green sector according to whether the photograph is possible or not. The sensitivity can be regulated from 32 to 320 asa.
