The company that made this camera was based in Hong Kong and exported cameras in large numbers and at very low cost to the USA, Britain and Europe to be given away in corporate promotions and fair ground prizes. Its products should not be confused with modern copies by Lomography.

The most famous of the series was the DIANA, but the GWPF made a number of different cameras, and multiplied the number of its models by simply putting a different name on the same items. They do take photographs, but they have a reputation for light leaks, jamming film transport, inaccurate shutter speeds, flare and lens aberrations which make the results a little unpredictable. This one has lost the piece of paper that tells which way to wind the film.

This was probably one of the early models because it has no provision for flash. Note the rectangular  viewfinder window. (the negative was square!)
