Kodak Bantam RF

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

Bantam is a specific film format, also called 828. The Kodak cameras which use it generally bear its name. RF means rangefinder. In the case of this camera, the rangefinder is coupled with the viewfinding. The setting of the distance is done while turning the large ring which surrounds the base of the lens. The shutter release is the large button which is on the left on the cap. The camera is made of plastic (bakelite?) of brown color, partly covered by a sleeving milk chocolate color.
This camera was manufactured between 1953 and 1957. Its launching coincided with the 65th birthday of EKc.The camera was worth $78,50 then.
