Hanimex VEF Zoom

This camera was presented to the Photokina '76  then to the 32nd Salon International which was held in Paris in 1977. It was accompanied by the presentation of the VF100, VEF compact, and the VEFII. The Hanimex VEF Zoom was probably 'inspired' by the Minolta 110 the year before.

The zoom is made up of seven multicoated lenses. The adjustment of the aperture is by a switch giving two options.

The available combinations of aperture and shutter (EV) suggest that the camera was designed for 100 ASA film in daylight. Kodacolor 400 was first sold in 1977, and could have been used in situations of low light or flash.

This camera exists also as Porst Zoompocket.
