History of the brand Kodak New window

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

This camera with instantaneous process was manufactured 1977 to 1978, in Great Britain. In the United States, it was called Handle Kodak Instant.
It is rather simple since it does not have focusing. A serrated roller, under the muzzle allows the setting of the intensity of the photograph (Darken towards Lighten). At the end of the muzzle is a button of test of the batteries . Those are in an easy access compartment under the muzzle. The lens is a f18/100 mm with double meniscus (in other words rectilinear). The speed of the shutter goes from 1/15 to 1/300 sec.It is regulated by a cell with silicium.

The introduction of a flip-flash opens the lens at 12,7. In the finder is a red LED indicating under-exposure.
The shutter release is on the left side of the muzzle.
The exit of the photograph is done while turning the handle located on the left (4 turns). Photo go out by the top of the body.
The body with handle is also found on the EK 20 and some other models.
To change film (PR144-10 exposures), the back entirely opens.
