History of the brand Zeiss Ikon New window

The career of the 54/2 drew out from 1926 to 1938.

The presented model is that of 1934- 1938. It is differing from the previous version by the presence of the enamelled extended hexagon on the front face. It is equipped with three diaphragm settings (11, 16 and 22) and with three distance settings (°-8, 8-2, 2-1). This setting is done by the use of retractable lenses. A lock makes it possible to block the shutter release to avoid any inopportune shooting.
