Kodak Jiffy Six-16

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

Jiffy exist in format 616 and 620 (smaller) and in two versions (there is a third (VP), much smaller, since it uses film 127, but its very different forms range it as being a model with share).
The first version (that presented here) is recognized by its front face decorated with reasons Art Déco (1933-37) whereas series II (1937-1948) has a black front face, because covered with leather. This front face is bored of two windows of finder, because there are two finders on these cameras, in order to be able to use the camera vertically or horizontally. A swivelling leg makes it possible to pose the camera vertically or horizontally. The focusing is done while turning the lens. The distance scale is very approximate (from 5 to 10 feet and beyond 10 feet). The shutter release is small and not very practical. It is placed with the intersection of the two spacers of left. Symmetrically positioned compared to the lens, a pull knob makes it possible to choose the shutter speed between I and exposure T.
