Chronology of cameras Argus
The Argus CC is manufactured on the same base as the Argus A3, but its elegant line is altered by the addition of a non-coupled, very angular light meter.
This new design was the subject of a patent application in 1941 (No. 127995) by Clinton H. Harris.
The distance is adjusted by turning the ring located at the base of the lens tube. Similar to Leica cameras, a button attached to this ring facilitates this process. The back of the camera features an exposure table.
In 1941, the Argus CC was sold for 27.50 dollars, while the A3 (same without a light meter) was sold for 16.50 dollars.
