Chronology of cameras Goerz
The Goerz Anschutz Deluxe was a variation of the Goerz Anschutz and was produced apparently along the entire lifespan of the simpler version. It has bellows and body cover in green leather with diamond pattern. The housing is also reinforced with metal brackets on the corners. This camera is designed for 4 x 5’’ plates and the distance scale is in yards, which shows it was made for the British market.
The folding Newton finder has a blue lens for better predicting B&W, and a speed table is on the top of the housing.
The non-capped Anschutz focal plane shutter delivers speeds in the range 1/10 to 1/1200 plus T, produce of combination of spring tension and slit width. The lens is a Goerz Dogmar of 16.5 cm of focal length and maximum aperture of 4.5. The lensboard has vertical movements while the front panel has horizontal.
