Chronology of cameras Klopcic
This Klopcic Reporter for 13 x 18 cm plates is basically similar to the one presented in this site: http://www.collection-appareils.fr/x/html/appareil-20460-Klopcic_Klopcic%20.html. However, the front standard is different, and the lens is a Krauss Zeiss-Tessar of focal length of 180mm and maximum aperture of 6.3. The scales of distances on the top of the camera include values for Zeiss Tessar, Berthiot Stellor and Olor. The Klopcic focal plane shutter, derived from the 1921 patent (FR551632), delivers speeds in the range 1 to 1/2000 seconds plus P, produced by a combination of slit width and two spring tensions (R – rapid and L – slow). The camera comes with a plate magazine.
