Imtek Foto AF35

This camera is like several others made in Taiwan, probably by Premier, for distribution by other companies. There is no autofocus (despite the large golden eyes) and some foolish persons might find the reference to "AF" slightly confusing. In Taiwan fixed focus was often described as "auto focus" because the camera did not require further human intervention to focus it; perfectly logical (?)

There are two apertures, the larger one is engaged only when the flash is "on". The CdS cell is there to tell the operator when to use the flash. The flash consists of not one, but two flash modules mounted side by side.

The general appearance and the use of ASA suggest a date before 1985. This camera was also sold as the Toma AF35 with black or bronze colors.
