Ricoh FF-1

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

“I would have liked to be an artist
To have the world to remake
To be able to say why I exist "
Ricoh FF1 would have agreed to be Minox 35. There are far too many resemblances between this camera of 1979 and those of the series of Minox 35 appeared in 1974 so that that is fortuitous. The greatest resemblance is that of the outgoing lens, protected by a flap.
Ricoh has a 2,8/35 mm (3 groups, 4 lenses) lens. The shutter, controls by a cell, goes from 2 seconds to the 1/500 second. Synchronization flash is to 1/60. The finder is with luminous framework. A diode indicates speeds lower than the 1/60.
All in all, it is a little larger than Minox 35 GT.

At Photokina of 1980, the FF-1S Electronic will be presented like its successor. Esthetic and especially internal modifications will justify this new model.
