Olympus OM10

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

In 1978, the specialized press awaited the advertisement of a OM-3, and was the launch of the OM-10, which took seat between the OM-1 and the OM-2. To simplify, it was presented like a simplified OM-2. Olympus says that it was especially conceived for the young people. I remember besides that several of my buddies of college had one of them.
The OM-10 is a not-disengageable automatic, with aperture priority. The OM-2 is a disengageable automatic and the OM-1 is semi-automatic.
As to the OM-2, the measure is carried out in real time by reflection on the first curtain, then on film, by a single cell. The surface of the curtain has a particular surface in order to balance measurement. The small logo, squared black and white, which is near the 10 of OM-10, points out this characteristic of the mode of measurement.
Two cells placed on both sides of the eyepiece control the posting of measurement.
This camera was marketed as from April 1979.
