Braun Super Paxette IIB

Traduction de Pierre Yves Petit.

Super-Paxette are all rangefinder cameras. The main difference with Series I is that Series II cameras all have interchangeable lenses.

Model IIB has a non-coupled lightmeter.

The lens on this particular camera is a 1:2.8 45mm Staeble Kata. The shutter is a Prontor SVS that speeds between 1s and 1/300th, plus bulb.

Pushing on a small button located on the top right, the user can read a set of aperture/speed couples, depending on the ISO sensitivity (between ISO 12 and 800).

There are two levers on the camera. The first one needs two stroke to advance film and cock the shutter. The other one, pushed by the left thumb, allows the user to rewind the film. The flash synch is on the side of the lens.
