The CX5F is a simplified variant of the CX-5. Both incorporate the concept of protective rotating flap appeared with the CX-1 and CX-2. The 5F is without any focus. Its lens is also a 33mm, with no idea to tell if it is the same 3.8 / 33mm lens as the one of the CX-5. The sensitivity setting is depleted, because it proposes only the 100 and the 400 ASA, and no more four possibilities.
If the cell and the program are the same as the CX-5, then it is a Cds cell. A red LED in the viewfinder indicates the under-exposure.
The flap disconnects the circuit of the body, but not the one of the flash
