Chronology of cameras Ihagee
This model is the successor to the Kine Exakta, the first 24 x 36 SLR. The VX is the symbol of full maturity of the Exakta, it was for nine years the most advanced SLR in the market. It can provide two finding modes, the traditional hood or the prism.
The cocking is on the left as on most Exakta. A lever allowed to bring the diaphragm to fully open position for a clearer viewing, and when the cocking was achieved, the diaphragm came to the originally settled aperture value.
Surely one of the camera that I prefer as it exudes quality and robustness; rocked early in the photography by a bachelor uncle, a great traveler who gave me a Retina and a Minox, my childhood years rhymed a lot with picture.
