This is a SLR with interchangeable lenses. The lenses have a 37 mm screw mount. The waist-level viewfinder can't be removed, it has a folding cover with a loupe.
There is also a small viewfinder on the side. The mirror goes down and back up according to the pressure on the shutter release button and the shutter operates when it's pushed all the way down.
The focal plane shutter has fabric curtains. The speeds range from 1/25 sec to 1/500 sec + Bulb. There is a double F and X PC sync on the camera front side.
The lens is a Takumar f/3.5 50mm with anti-reflective coating, the diaphragm is of the manual (preset) type..
