Chronology of cameras Graflex
The Pacemaker is one of the latest versions of Speed Graphic, in its traditional lines.
Appeared in 1947, it was fitted with a Graflok back in 1950, then later on with a rangefinder on top. Although the version with side rangefinder was officially stopped in 1950, it remains that this model is the most produced and most common version , the rangefinder on top did not meet the expected success.
The main changes compared to the Speed Graphic Anniversary are:
- Metal lens plate,
- Adjustable and foldable Infinity stop,
- Simplified focusing scale,
- Modified viewfinder,
- Change in the setting of speeds (reduction to 6 speeds: 30,60,125,250,500 and 1000 and T
- Toggle of the front lens plate
The specimen presented is a Air Force model C6.
