In Ihagee, Ultrix is a very widespread name. We can distinguish several main categories:
Auto-Ultrix, for the automatic cameras, i.e. the bellows expands at the touch of a button.
Ultrix-Duplex, for cameras accepting film or plate.
Ultrix-Simplex, for very simple versions.
And finally, the Ultrix for the others
So on this simple model, we must help the bed to open by pulling the leg; then pinching the base, pull forward the lens stand.
The shutter is a Vario and the lens a Meyer Trioplan 6.8 / 105 mm.
