Chronology of cameras Plavic
History of the brand Plavic New window

I find traces of Plavic from the catalog Photo-Plait dated 1919. It is then not a manufacturer of cameras, but makes film and "blocks films." The actual name of the manufacturer: "Société des Celluloses Planchon" in Lyon. Manufacturing is therefore limited to cellulose support, since emulsions were from coming from Lumière.

Cameras bearing the brand Plavic are from another manufacturer and Plavic completed its offer by incorporating such cameras into its catalog.
They seem few and were released before the end of the 30s, when the Plavic company was totally absorbed by Lumière.

The model that interests us here is very conventional and it is not worth focusing on its description. The shutter is called "Plavicos" and the lens is called Plavic.
