Gallus Jumelle Stereo

Traduction de Manuel M

The small stereoscopic jumelle of Gallus is manufactured out of metal (Zamac probably taking into account the beginning of visible oxidation on the edges of the camera). The front part is enamelled, and the body is covered with morocco
There is no magazine and thus the plate must be changed with each exposure.
The adjustments are simple: choice between instantaneous speed and poses, choice between three apertures (6.8 11 and 22), choice speed. The cocking of the shutter is done while turning the serrated roller-butterfly.

In the catalog Photo-Plait of 1931, this version cost 575 francs. The version, less luxurious, not covered with leather, with lens F. 7.7 cost 260 francs.
