Gustave Lezy se dit constructeur breveté SGDG - sans garantie du gouvernement - situé 4, rue Maurice Mayer dans le quatrième arrondissement de Paris. D'après la réclame, la maison aurait été fondée en 1892.
La Gallia est un détective à 12 plaques 9 x 12 ou pellicule 8,5 x 10,5. Le lecture de l'annonce permet de comprendre qu'il est possible d'adjoindre un châssis particulier pour film en rouleau (brevet 229 572), permettant de prendre 25 ou 50 épreuves.
Cet appareil existe avec un objectif rectiligne extra-rapide ou avec un objectif ortho périscope Derogy.
