Kodak Junior 620

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

Junior 620 was manufactured in Stuttgart from 1933 to 1939. It was a camera of large production, with several variants. The model of 1933 is recognized with its black enamelled front face and its metal incrustations and its film button in advance. On the later versions, this button is replaced by a key and the front face is redrawn.
The model presented has an anastigmat lens f1:7,7 10,5 cm (apertures: 7.7, 11,16 and 22 / speeds: T, B, 1/75 and 1/25)
The identification of this camera is easy since its name is insert in the leather of the back. A plate riveted in the flap under the bellows indicates that it is about a camera of Kodak AG (Dr. Nagel-Werk in Stuttgart).
The way of writing 620 here has its importance, since in German six says “sechs” and not “six”.
