Falcon model F of 1938 is distinguished from the others minicam by its weight, due to the massive use of metal for the helicoid slope which supports the lens and the back of the camera, whereas the remainder of the body of the camera is made of bakelite (like the others minicam). Moreover, a small retractable foot (visible on the photograph, below the lens) prevents that the camera does not rock ahead when it is posed and that the helicoid slope is with its maximum pulling.
To make turn the slope (and thus regulate the distance ) it is necessary to maintain inserted the small button located on the left lens. As soon as it is slackened, the slope is blocked.
The lens of this camera is Wollensak Velostisgmat 3,5/2 inches, assembled on a shutter Deltax (1/25, 1/50, 1/100, B and T). The film used is of format 127. The 16 photographs make 3 X 4 cm.
