Ica Victrix (48)

The Ica Victrix was a small folding bed camera designed for plates of 4.5 x 6 cm. It was produced between 1912 and 1925. This example belongs to the first type (48), identifiable by the front bed radial focusing (to 1 m), horizontal movement of the front standard and long horizontal struts. The brilliant finder is located on the top left of the front standard.

The shutter is a compound instantaneous F. Deckel Compur delivering speeds in the range 1/25 to 1/100 plus B and T (Z). The lens is a Ica Doppel-Anastigmat Hekla of 7.5 cm of focal length and maximum aperture of 6.8.
