Baudry Isographe

This Isographe is a model using 6x13 cm plates.
It is numbered 638 (top photo), this is a simplified model without focus. To be compared with the model using film.

Lenses are Olor Berthiot F: 5.7 , 75 mm.

Patrice Barraud, in his book "Le génie photographique d'Angers" devotes very interesting pages to the life and work of Lucien Baudry, watchmaker from Angers area, which manufactured one by one, in a very artisanal way, the Isographes. Meticulous manufacturing never allowed to reach an important production. Each camera is unique.
