Has Cord somthing to do with Coronet?
Hello,
I have a Cord Camera in my collection, same as here:
http://www.collection-appareils.fr/x/ht ... _Cord.html
But when I look at the front, the Camera looks very similar to the older Coronet Boxes, and normally Coronet Box Cameras has a very unique face.
Is it possible that Cord and Coronet has are working in cooperation ?

Coronet was working with Tiranty for Boxes and folding. But I don't think it was working with Cord...

Hello
As remembered in the McKeowns guide (P. 220) ,some Coronet box cameras were assembled in France after WW2 to get round the French import restrictions.
We may therefore think that commercial deals could have been made at the time between the two companies.
Possible but still to be proven....

Cord and Coronet cameras are different. For example, the winding Key is always on the same place for Coronet and on another place for Cord. This is very simple box cameras and I think there is no patent to protect something (except the name)
