Le CLR est un Vito CL parfait, puisqu'il est muni d'un télémètre.
Ce télémètre se paye cher, puisqu'en 1965, le Vito CL avec le Lanthar 2,8/50 se vendait 517 francs, alors que le CLR se vendait 614 francs. Pour encore un peu plus cher, les deux appareils pouvaient être livrés avec un Skopar à quatre lentilles.
