Chronology of cameras Belomo
This basic, mechanical, and manual camera, equivalent to contemporary Western productions, was successively produced by several Soviet factories. Its asymmetrical and original shape gives it a friendly and distinctive appearance.
The lens/shutter block is placed at the end of an extendable tube. The lens automatically extends with an unmistakable noise when pressing the only button on the top, which is often mistaken for the shutter release. The movement, the sound produced, and the surprise are such that the camera feels like it might slip out of your hands.
Only the lens has an identification number: 6010xx.
Approximately 9000 units were manufactured.
